Returning to the Industry

Danielle Robinson

I just want to say a huge thank you for all your help with my portfolio. My return to the industry after such a long break has been so much less daunting because of your encouragement and your own experience. Knowing which images I should discard and which have that commercial and editorial edge that I need to show in order to appeal to my new and future client base, has made the difference between my portfolio looking dated, and being contemporary & marketable.

Appealing to the RIGHT market

Kerri Nash

I realise I definitely did not have my website set up for my target market.  It was misleading and didn't show what I was selling.  Also, how important clean beauty is.  I really want to add more of that look now.  Thank you!

“Sue McLaurin was first my mentor in 2010. Before I met Sue, I saw her Comp Card in a modelling agency and thought I wished I could do what she is doing and have a portfolio like hers… Sue helped me so much with my portfolio, she was very honest, she went through my website and told me what to keep, what to take down, and what I needed to add to help me reach my goals. Sue’s honest advice always helped me to improve. She motivated me and helped me to follow my dreams."
